|Like many of these small companies, Magna Classic Cars has been originated out of love for classic cars. In the past the founder Frans Diepeveen has become known as cofounder of Brookland Classic Cars, a company which had built up an excellent reputation over a short period of time restoring and selling Jaguars and Austin Healeys. Due to other business obligations, Brookland Classic Cars was sold. When the time was right and available, the love for classic cars took shape again. Diepeveen’s great interest in pre-war cars resulted in a focus on pre-war MG’s, but also the post-war types up till the TF type.
At that time, technical specialist Bert Huijbens, was requested for his assistance at Magna’s. Since then, both men have been restoring pre-war MG’s almost full time (just hobby). Given the high quality they aim for, a maximum of two cars a year can be restored. Only a few part-restorations, like painting and some engine rebuilds, are subcontracted to top quality specialists.
Magna’s small and cozy showroom has space for five MG’s. Because of the enormous interest for pre-war cars, you can sometimes find there other brands as well.
You are very welcome to visit the showroom. If you would like to have a look at Magna’s cars, please give us a call.
We are the easiest to be reached on our mobile numbers.
